pausing a slideshow

Post by Phil P »

I made a few slideshows with MF6. The slideshows play fine. Am playing it back in an hd-dvd player. I can't get the slideshow to manually pause on any image of the slideshow. Any suggestions?

Meaning when you press the Pause button on your DVD player remote it does not pause? What does it do?

When I press the pause button on my player or the remote, the slideshow just keeps playing. In othe words, I can not stay on one particular image.

That sounds like a problem with your DVD player.

The player works fine pausing regular dvd's and hd-dvd's, so I suspect it is not a problem with the player.

O.K. so the batteries are fine.
When you created the disc did you burn at the burners fastest speed or did you reduce it to 4X (or the next nearest available setting)?

Burned all at 4x. Also, same problem on all the slideshows I have burned. Does not seem to be a disc issue.

HD video (from the same camcorder I take my still images with for the slideshows) burned with the same software on to dvd-r plays fine and pauses fine.
