I have a JVC which I can not use the capture feature with. The procedure I use is to transfer the video clips to a folder on my desk top, then use the wizard to get it into the corel 11.5 system.
What ends up happening is that I get the last shots/clips at the beginning of the timeline .Just the reverse of what was shot. Only way I have found is to manually move them to their correct order. I also have the adobe which gives the option of which order to display.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem .
Thanks in advance
Russ

A JVC what? Is it a mini-DV, Digital-8/Hi-8, VHS, VHS-C ?I have a JVC
How are you transferring, and using what to do so ?The procedure I use is to transfer the video clips
There are a couple of ways to get the order correct. What ends up happening is that I get the last shots/clips at the beginning of the timeline .Just the reverse of what was shot.
1. When you insert your video files, if you are multi-selecting them, select the last clip first then the first one. This should show up in the correct order if not, then there is the second option...
2. After selecting all your clips you should get the Change Clip Sequence window. Across the top, those are buttons, they function the same as headers in spreadsheets or databases. Clicking them changes the order..

Thanks for the reply . I guess I was kinda scant on basic camera info. It is a JVC Everio HDD with a 30GB hard drive> I have to transfer tothe desktop the same as if I wanted to transfer a folderfroma external hard drive .
I tried your tricks and neither would work for me . The change sequence window would move the 1st clip up but not to the top. then on the second click it would be returned to the original slot.
I did find that I could click individual scenes and they would load in the order they were shot, but that is a lot of extra steps when you have a ton of clips like I have from the Oklahoma state fair.
it is a shame we can not take the best of both the corel & the Adobe and make a third.
Thanks again
