VideoStudio X2 Chapter question

Post by sttork »

You know how on store-bought mainstream DVDs you can click the "forward" or "advance" or whatever you call it to skip ahead to the next chapter point? I tried doing this with my own 1-hour video clip but, when I do so, it makes separate menu chapter items. Can I simply make these chapter points w/o getting each chapter put into a menu item? I know, probably a dump questioni, but it is something I am missing and that the manual does not cover. Any suggestions? -Bob

Please view:
Authoring a DVD

Specifically on the screen where you select your DVD menus, there is a second tab called Edit. Click on it, then above the Menu in / Menu out there is an Advanced Settings icon. Click on it and de-select the Create Chapter Menu.

Thanks!

HOWEVER...is there a way to do it if I have a beginning menu w/ 2 1 hr clips - and keep the begining menu intact?
