Profiles gone?!?!?!

Post by SnedekerDesignz »

I've been making screen casts, and do an advanced render by going to "Custom" in the video options menu. I choose WMV and click options and choose a custom profile. The only thing that renders a video, high quality, in SUCH a small video size. Well, it's gone. What happened?!!?

What's changed on your system from the last time you used this? Any recent updates done? Have you done any house-cleaning that may have removed the profiles?

In order to have more WMV encoding options, you will need to download and install the Windows Media 9 Encoder.

(That last paragraph is from my "canned response" program-- TypeItIn Pro), just need to make sure that you have that installed. Also if you're running Vista, customizing those profiles are a little more complicated as Vista thinks that the user should not be able to have write access to those files....
