No Video when making files

I searched and didn't see this elsewhere. I am new to Video Studio Pro X2 and used some clips and saved. When I try to make a video file, it renders and then makes a file but the video doesn't show up. The sound is there, but no video. I suppose I am doing something wrong, but tried multiple file types and the same thing happens. I have Windows Vista for my system.
