I have been using Photoimpact 7 for the longest time on my WinXP computer. However, have just received a Vista 32bit premium and understand the PI 7 will not work with Vista.
#1- Is there a good FREE photo software I might be able to use with this Vista?
We are senior citizens and funds are a bit low.
#2- Or is there another version of Photoimpact (we are used to it and that is why we are trying to stick with it) that will work with Vista?
#3- Does Ulead or Corel own Photoimpact? I notice the name "Novatel."
#4- Is Photoimpact 13 Pro the same thing as Photoimpact 13?
I was using PhotoScope (free), but it is very complicated for us.

The more recent versions of PhotoImpact work on Vista.
I have used various items of older software by way of Virtual machines.
This option does not cost any money and you do not have the normal problems associated with locating the various sound and video drivers that you would normally have with a dual boot system.
