Auto Music library not showing in Videostudio X2

Post by stekmer »

When trying to use the 'Auto Music' feature in Videostudio X2 there is no access to the included music library and all the features are greyed out - non accessable.

There are 6 music clips located in 'C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 12\Content\Audio' folder. I assume that these are the files that should show in the auto music feature.

Any suggestions on how to get the auto music feature to work would be most appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Welcome to the forums,

There should be 21 files located in that folder, unless perhaps you're using a trial (TBYB) version. The files in the Audio Library are found in the C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 12\Samples\Audio directory. The files in that folder are the ones that appear in the Audio Library. The Auto Music is provided by SmartSound. Those are located in a totally separate location on your system. Most of the time they are installed to C:\SmartSound Software\Quicktracks\Library.

To access the Auto Music, SmartSound you should see a tab located beneath the Audio Library pane, called Auto Music.

Select one from the drop-down menu and press the Add to Timeline button. If you have video or image clips on the video tracks, you can also place a check in the box beside Auto Trim, and the SmartSound Quicktrack will be automatically trimmed to the duration of your project.
