Hello from a new memeber

Post by graphicgranny »

I am not only new to the forum but I come with a question. I have CorelDraw 3.0 from many years ago that my son and I bought. I love the program but I have a new computer and I can't get it to load. I no longer have the serial numbers but I really need to use this program. Is there any way I can load it now or am I out of luck since I can't afford to buy another one? Can anyone give me a solution to my delima?
Thanks,
Graphicgranny

If you have a new computer are you sure you haven't got Vista loaded? Where are you trying to load the progam from?

Welcome to the forums,

Sadly I really don't think that such an old, outdated version will run on a newer machine, especially Vista. Have you tried using the Compatibility Mode for your Operating System? What version of Windows were you using on your old computer? If it was Win98 you may be able to use that compatibility mode with XP, however it may not work with Vista.
