Capture frame as an image

Post by erdna »

I have a 1920x1080 clip(AVCHD) on my timeline, and want to save a particlar frame in it as an image It shows as a 1024x576 .JPG. Where is my 1920x1024 format gone?

Hi
In clip mode you should be saving the same as the original video size (clip--save as still image....)

OR
Set the project properties to match your video file size 1920x1024. (You will have to use Mpeg2 compression)

Then use Tools-Save current frame as image, must be in ¡¥project playback ¡¥ mode. (will save as you see it on screen)

Thanks for your quick and complete reply. Do you happen to know if the resulting imagea are de-interlaced frames or line doubled fields? Is there any setting to change this?

Hi

File-Preferences-Capture Tab shows the Image Capture as De-interlaced. (By Default)

I have always kept this option.
