On reflection still think that the Pro X2 patch sucks!

Hi

The story so far:

Pre download I was unable to import mp4 and other simimar files (mainly movie extracts from the internet). I had no problems importing avi files.

Post download I can import mp4 but am unable to import any species of avi!! (from the internet that is-I can still capture from Camcorder thank God).

I can use Super and other applications but preferred using Pro X2 to convert to mpeg 2 which I was able to do with impunity until recently.

The software gurus would make a fortune if they could invent something which allowed one to uninstall a patch but I know the technology for this doesn't currently exist. I downloaded Pro X2 from the internet so should have the install prog and key somewhere on my system.

All other things being equal will I lose much significant utility if I uninstall and then reinstall?

Assume this facility works with Vista HP?

Not sure it addresses my point about losing features which will offset the advantage of being able to work with all avi files.
