Problem with video audio
I would like some advise. I have a sony camcoder DCR-HC40E and Video studio Ulead plus 11. When connecting sony via USB I am able to view video footage on my PC via the video studio but I am unable to hear the audio that is recorded with the video on the camcorder. Any suggestions?

Hi Renu
Welcome to the forum...................
Does your camera record to Mini-DV tapes?
If yes then you should connect via Firewire (I-Link)(DV-out)
Capturing to format-DV will transfer the data to the pc as DV-Avi at 13 Gb per hour, this is the best method.
I don¡¦t own VS 11 but am aware of some capture problems, there is a free program called WinDV that can be used. http://windv.mourek.cz/
USB is not really suitable to capture your footage unless it a Hard Drive or a Memory stick.
The USB on your camera is only suitable for still image transfer.
