HELP! My hearings gone!!

Post by lakewud »

Ok so a little dramatic..but hey Ive been toying about all morning on this problem I have - and with a baby daughter all time is precious.

I have looked at past threads btw before starting this one ..as I seem to remember mentioning something like it before..however, I could find an answer.

SO, Please could someone tell me, I have a video clip..IF i play the clip the sounds works fine...IF i split the sound and play the CLIP then the sound works fine...BUT, if I play the clip via PROJECT button then there is no sound?

Hope that is easy enough to understand. Why? I am trying to create a 3rd sound overlay...i have effects in the voice/music bars...Now I have done this before.. i recall using an overlay bar to play music/video and simply ignoring the video if you see what i mean - so just the music playing.

But why cant i get this sound clip to work in Project mode..and only can hear it in the clip mode..whats the difference?

The clip is WAV. I downloaded it via zillatube ( which sadly trial period is now over..so hence can give it another go and copy the Youtube link and save as mp4 etc instead just downloading as a video clip.

Any thoughts? I have tried all sorts..to save as a Create>sound file etc...it does all that..and save the clip..but no sound.

To put it simply...why is this clip can be seen in project / clip setting but i cant hear it in project settings? and yet i can in clip...i dont get it??

please advise. thanks

Try changing the clip's volume to anything but 100. 99 will do just fine. I don't know why, but that seems to do the trick sometimes.
