Mark-in/out resetting - cursor stay put
What trick does one use to get the jog slider to remain at the current timeline position when resetting the mark-in/out settings?

Mark in/out
Are you using the triangle below the preview window to move to the mark in/out position or the one above the timeline, because the cursor stays put

With my workflow approach
, I delete the selected range (mark-in/out area) after working on a clip. The only way I can do this, is to switch the project and then hit the home and end tabs repeatedly. This results in the whole timeline being playable. Unfortunately my cursor scrollbar is now either at the beginning or the end of the project.
My trick is to remember the timecode value and re-enter it. Hitting enter puts my job bar where I was last working, and I can then continue with my further editing. I just wondered if anyone had a quicker method
.
Ken, I already tried your method thanks - no luck.
