Hi,
I just purchased X2 Pro, and am having an issue with 16:9. I was able to import my 16:9 videos and edit them fine, but can't seem to export them out in 16:9 format. They always seem to be letterboxed 4:3.
The only one that publishes out true 16:9 that I can find is the WMV HD format.
I'm particularly interested in exporting h.264 in say 640x360 size, and maybe eventually in 1280x720 or 720x480 anamorphic.
Any suggestions? I looked in the help files, and tried searching the forum, but came up with nothing! Certainly I can't be the only one that has tried to do this. Any suggestions or help?
Thanks,
KG

Are your project properties and burn properties set for 16:9?

Hi
File-Project Properties, will show the aspect ratio as 16:9 or 4:3
More important may be the properties of your video files.
Right click a clip in the timeline and select properties, what are they?
So could you tell us what type of video files you are using, HD, AVCHD, Avi, Mpeg, Div X and the list goes on......
Downloaded from the internet or captured from a camcorder-SD-HD/TV tuner????????
And what exactly do you intend to do with the finished converted video??
If you have got as far as the Burner Module, Share Create Disc is used to create a DVD, select the Cogwheel lower left for ¡¥project settings¡¦, this is where you can see the ¡¥Properties for file Conversion¡¦, assuming you are taking this route.
If you are intending to upload to the internet then you need the Share Create Video File option,
There are many options to choose from so again what do you intend to do with the finished converted video??

I have the same problem in VideoStudio X2. I would like to create an MP4 file with H.264 codec with 1280x720 resolution. I select Share -> Create Video File -> Custom -> Save as type: MPEG-4 -> Options -> Compression tab -> Video type: H.264-BASELINE -> Video data rate: 2000 kbps -> General tab. In Frame size dropdown I don't see an option of 1270x720. See the screen shot:

My project properties are set to 16x9 aspect ratio and the source file that I am editing is exactly what I want to output: H.264 1280x720. You can download the source file here (250MB):

So how can I output H.264 video with 1280x720 resolution with VideoStudio?
