Burning blue-ray to standard 4.7g dvd

Post by Macadoon »

Hi all,
This topic may have been discussed already. If so, please post the link as I cannot find it.
I wonder, can blue-ray format be burned on a standard dvd and then played in a blue-ray-capable dvd player?
If so, what is the preferred type of DVD? DVD-R; DVD+R ...?

Just put Hybrid Disc into the search box and see what comes up. Ken Berry is the expert on this.
