Hi granpa, and welcome to the forums!

That's an excellent introduction! And obviously your computer is up to the task of editing the very demanding format used by your camera. (See my other comment on your post in the Video Studio forum). My only comment would be to wonder why you chose to do the whole thing with the 'old film' filter applied, making it monochrome throughout. I can see why you did it (the Loch Ness monster theme). But with a high definition camera, it might have been far more visually stunning to start off with that filter, go for a few seconds of the old castle and the lake, then fade out the filter and into full, high definition colour. Then you could have faded back into the old film look with the St Andrew's flag at the end... But that's just a matter of personal taste, I guess! But very well done. And great music too!

Well Ken, i'am just playing with things at the moment like a kid with a new toy, not only is the camera new to me but also the software but i'am attempting to slow myself down a bit ....i hope :D also the whole video thing is new for me as well although i've been a stills man for a few years. Once i get into things as such i'am sure to make changes.
