I am using videostudio 12. Is there a way to get the mirror image of a video? I have tried "reverse" but that seems to just play the video in reverse? I am assuming there is no "mirror", since I cannot find it but I figured I would ask.

No, there's not a mirror filter in VS. However try FX Bench, by member Stephan Burger. FX Bench is a programmable Filter-Extension for video editing applications. He does have such a filter and it does work with VS.

It is a plug-in, and shows up in the Drop-down video filter menu as Burger. Drag the icon to your video clip, then click on Customize filter to open it. There are I believe 4 mirror filters.

I loaded the fxbench program and it said there were no acceptable programs loaded on my computer. I do have corel videostudio 12 loaded. I pulled down the filters and did not find any Burger filter listed.

This is strange as I've got both XP and Vista (both 32 bit) and FX bench loaded fine. What OS are you running? If it is a pre-release of Win-7 then all I can say is it's not going to happen...:(

I am using vista business. Do I need to do something with the fx bench after it is installed?

Try copying the FXbench.vft file from the Burger\FXbench folder to the Corel VideoStudio 12\vft_plug folder.

Versions of VideoStudio prior to 12 were under a directory tree
c:\program files\ulead\....
and so that is where FX Bench / BUrger Transitions look for programs in order to install the VFX file.

Now that Corel own these programs they are located at
c:\program files\corel\....

This means you need
1. An appropriate program in a "Ulead" directory
(VideoStudio/Gif animator/CD&DVD Picture Show etc.)
2. Then you need to copy/paste the VFX file to the Corel directory.
