I just want to point out a problem I experienced while working on VS X2 with Windows 7 RC. When playing back the project or clip the sound just stopped playing. I tried everything. The only way to restore the sound is to reboot the system. I then uninstalled and re-installed the program but still had the same problem.
Out of pure desperation and not willing to do such a step, I installed an XP codec Pack. The problem was instantly solved.
It worked for me and just want to share it with someone with the same trouble, may be this can help.

Luna -- thank you for that. I am transferring this post to the Windows 7 and VS sticky thread towards the top of this forum, just so all related posts are kept together for the moment -- at least until Windows 7 is formally released in October. I also added a comment of my own.
But so as not to confuse the issue, I am locking this thread. Please post any follow-up in the above sticky...
