Hi there.
My Sony DVD Camcorder asks me if I want to format the DVD to be played back in ost DVD players or to be formatted in such a way that I can edit directly on Handycam.
I have never edited through my Handycam and don't think I will.
Which is the better way (if there is such a thing) to format my DVDs in?
Regards,
Deon

choose the one for most dvd players. This will be recorded in dvd videoa dn once you've finished recording you will finalise the disc and that will be it.
The other method will allow you to record and re-reord and edit and change, delete files etc. Once finished you'll finlaise it adn again it'll play on most new dvd players.
