MP4 and VS9: problem burning DVD

I have installed VS 9 and recently the MP4 plugin. I can render my video content in MP4 format, but when I select "Create Disk" from the menu, the MP4 file is not recognized.

Anyone have any helpful suggestions? Thanks in advance.
