Problems With Motion Menus

I hardly ever use chapter motion thumbnail menus and when I do I always use my movie BG.
However today (after all these yeaers) I wanted to use one of the installed motion menu that come with the app.
I noticed that with the latest patches, dws2patch4_e.exe or dws2patch5_e.exe, the thumbnail motion menus do not work automatically.
If either one of the other patchs is not installed, then it will not be possible to choose Auto Add Chapters, By Fixed Interval because that option is included in the mentioned patches.
Can somebody please confirm this behaviour or othewise.

Have you ticked the Motion Thumbnail Check Box?

When a motion background chapter menu is used that option is greyed out. This happens after installing one of the latest patches, as mentioned previously.

Please note that I am refairing to the background not the actual chapter thumbnail.
