VS Keeps Crashing

yeah, and when you click it doesn't actually "click" in the program until a few seconds late.

Admittedly a file that size would take a long time to import but once it is in VS would the file size affect the click response speed when you say, click to drag a transition or effect?

A DV-AVI file of that size I would not think would cause a lag. But I'm assuming he is still talking about a file from Camstudio, which is probably some highly compressed format, so it doesn't surprise me that he may be having some problems.
