I have just started using this for Blu-ray; works fine on the laptop screen but as soon as I try to plug in my projector via HDMI it stops and says;
'Your display environment does not support protected content material'
The whole point of this drive is to use my projector so it's frustrating.
Plus, I don't seem to be able to find out which version I've got. If I right click and hit 'About' it says this:

Use AnyDVD HD (slysoft.com), it seems that your display is old and not HDCP compliant.ginjaman wrote:I have just started using this for Blu-ray; works fine on the laptop screen but as soon as I try to plug in my projector via HDMI it stops and says;

I've been using AnyDVD (and Elby Region Killer 2 before that) for years for DVD region removal, and after a couple of days trying to get HD-DVD and Blu-ray to work, I upgraded to AnyDVD HD.
Even though my graphics card and monitor support HDCP, it still didn't work properly all the time, until I started using AnyDVD HD. Some people look down on it for the legal aspects, but I think we should be looking down on the movie studios for charging us for junk that simply doesn't work without it.
