My films on the youtube

Post by weaver »

Here are some samples from my films:

From Durango, Colorado

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTJQgPsODa4

Unfortunatelly after the compression/resizing the titel is somehow fuzzy.

the another example is from Eritrea, Africa

This film is available also in English and with Italian subtitles.

Both films are in HD in original.

Would you mind explaining how you made the switchable subtitles? We have had that question several times over the years.

I works quite well with MF6 - we had here on the forum also some kind of video tutorial.

In VS you place the text where you want (you will see them on the sequence like on the YT). When ready, export the titles and you will get the file: NEW.utf (at least on the German version). Then you can finish with VS. (Do not export the video with subtitles!!!!!!!).
Then in windows you have to rename the subtitle file to NEW.srt.

Now open the MF6, pull the video file NEW.mpg and open the subtitle editor. Disable the EXIF, enable in the block below the Subtitle import feature and import your recently created NEW.srt file. That is all. You can burn your DVD and on the DVD remote control the subtitle button will be activated and you can switch ON and OFF the subtitles.
