synchronise titles

Post by breadman »

Hello all
Is there any way to synchronise titles on the title track with clips or stills on the video track, so that I can mess with the video track and the titles still align with the right clips?

Yes. Use "Ripple editing". To the left of the tracks in the Timeline is a little padlock symbol. Click the symbol against the video track and it will change to the lock position. Then click on any other locks against the tracks and this will lock those tracks to the video track. If you then shorten a video track the titles etc will stay in sync.

Thank you. That's brilliant. That's just something I hadn't properly understood before (obviously)
