Downloading objects etc from the Ulead server

I´m running PhotoImpact 10 on Win XP Pro. Two problems:

1) I´ve downloaded the trial version (TBYB) and purchased it in online. The version seemed to be unlocked (No purchase popup) but no ser. nr was added, still a TBYB-version when looking at "Help/About PhotoImpact"

2) When opening "Web/Component Designer" most of the objects there have the information that "This component is on the Ulead server" and a possibility to do a download via "Smart Download". But this download seems not be working, the progressmeter does not respond and the download is closed with, typical, "Downloaded: 0 file(s); Not downloaded: 50 file(s)" and also maybe an error code (?) [2500:1:577]

I´ve tried to do downloads all around the clock, maybe the server is very busy I thought, but no, always the same behavior described above.

So glad if any of of you could respond and give a word or two

It would help if people read some of the posts here before creating their own, this has been discussed umpteen times in various threads.
It is impossible to give any meaningful advise with out knowing details about the system on which the problem occured. It could be hardware related, it could be software related, do you run a firewall? If yes, did you allow the download program access to the web?

Let us have some more detail and, surely, someone is going to be around to help.
