Alludo USER to USER Web Board

Sorry everyone but I am back!!
I am trying to have VideoStudio Editor screen alongside a video tutorial on a 27 inch monitor screen so as I do not have to keep minimizing one or other Editor or tut. video. I can see no way of keeping VideoStudio from filling the whole screen. At the top of the screen I have 3 options ie ?, minimize and X. Is this possible with Video Studio as I frequently use this method with PaintShop Pro X2?

My mother board is Asus M2N-E
Processor AMD Athlon 64X2 Duel core
Video Card = N Vidia Geforce 9500 GT

You cannot reduce the screen size in VideoStudio, is all or nothing.
You would need to Alt-Tab between VideoStudio and your tutorial.

Thank you for your reply. I had my suspicions what your reply would be. Very peculiar as most other programmes have this feature. Looks like I shall have to adapt!

Is there some rationale for not being able to size the window down? I'm in the same boat as the original poster. I'm a cancer patient, can't devote a lot of time to the software right now, and it'd be nice if I could have 2 windows side by side while I go through the learning curve. The inability to resize just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. -Rod-

I am afraid that none of us here work for Corel, so we have no idea of what the rationale is. All I personally can say is that it has always been so with the screen, going back to when VS was produced by Ulead...

Like Ken said, none of us here work for Corel.
I can only guess that Video Editing is so demanding that it is not deemed practical to be using your computer for something else at the same time. In fact many of us go completely the other way and set up a special Video Editing Profile to devote as much computing power to the task as possible.
