With the project open, and a clip selected try going to File menu Relink... It should open a prompt where you can browse to the location you designated for your proxy files. By default (WinXP) this is C:\Documents and Settings\UserNameHere\My Documents\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0\

Hi VIDOMAN, I tried your suggestion but all that it did was relink the entire vidoe file as if had been unlinked....it did not link the proxyfile.

When you attempted to relink, did you point VS to the Proxy Files it had created, or the original? In File>Preferences dialog, on the Proxy tab, you can designate a location and other specifics for your proxy files. The location specified is where the proxy files should be found.
