X2 Pro support Dual Monitors?

Post by DGV »

As a heavy user of of VS9 for the past few years, I think it is time to upgrade to X2 Pro.

I have a dual monitor system (even though VS9 doesnt work with duals) and I was wondering if anyone knows if X2 Pro supports a dual system? I cant seem to find confirmation anywhere on Corel's site.

Did anyone have any major issues with the learning curve from VS9 (or others) to X2 Pro?

I also have loaded on my system Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 but I just cant seem to get my head around it, and prefer to stick with the VS family.

As far as I understand VSx2 will not split or spread over two screens.... it will stay in one screen but you could have something else open on the other screen

It works, if you have for example a ATI-card.

You must use there the theater-mode.

Sorry, but it is to difficult to explain it in englisch for me.

Georg, thanks for the examples you posted.

The examples were of overlay track on the 2nd monitor. Is the overlay track the only thing that you can display on the second monitor?

When Georg says "overlay on a second monitor" I don't believe he is referring the the overlay track, but to the process of "mounting" the image to a second monitor.

sorry - I mean not the overlay-track. The preview-window can transfer to a second monitor. This is done by the graphic-card, because the picture inside the preview-window came directly via graphic-card, so you can¡¬t capture it by a screencapture-pgm. On this way you can transfer this picture to a second monitor.
