This is my first post to this group. I'm looking forward to learning more about Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate.
By trade, I was a major university administrator and teacher. Unfortunately, I was forced into early retirement at age 50 due. in part, to an inherited movement disorder in my arms and hands called essential tremor. I am now 58 years of age, and to quote a famous Rock-n-Roller, Jerry Lee Lewis,
there's a whole lotta' shakin' goin' on!
Since my hands and fingers shake considerably, everyday tasks are challenging, especially anything requiring fine motor skills. However, I've learned to be very patient over the past 46 years; the tremor started when I was 13 years of age. And to think I wanted to be a surgeon... REALLY I DID! My dad was a surgeon and he wanted me to practice with him. About 40 years ago, I worked my way through college as a hospital orderly. My job required me to prep patients for surgery, including shaving their body hair at and around the incision site. To see the faces of those patients...
CUT ON THEM!
Well, I really should get back to my introduction. I recently purchased the new Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate software. I've been using various versions of Paint Shop Pro since version 7. As I'm able, I scan and retouch old photos of my family and friends, and develop family history DVD slide presentations. It's a very slow process, but I can do it. I am also an amateur genealogist and I teach others how to trace their family history.
Thanks for the opportunity to share and learn more about this software!
