Choppy AVCHD playback in multi-trim

Post by froggy_doddy21 »

I have a decent PC running Vista 32bit, 3 GB RAM, Core 2 Duo CPU, using VS X2. AVCHD files play fine on it. Everything is good except that AVCHD video clips are choppy when I play them in multi-trim video to edit the clips. The audio is fine, just the video is very choppy. If I play the same AVCHD clip from the videostudio timeline, then it play fine. Strange.

I have applied the Nov 2008 patch.

Anyone else having this problem? Any solution?

Thx

I'm not a genius, I just copied what Steve had told others to do. Still it was nice to be a "genius" while it lasted
