WinDV now doesn't work !

Post by terry dennis »

I recently changed my PC and , among other things , had to re-download WinDV which was recommended on this site and which I have used for a couple of years or so. I am still using Windows XP.
When I came to capture a few clips using Win DV , the utility did not seem to recognise my Panasonic NV-GC150 despite the fact that I could capture OK directly into VS11+ , which I had already re-installed.

Any thoughts from you knowledgeable guys out there ?

Regards

Terry D. :(

Hi

One thought, make sure you are running Win Dv on its own.
That is close video studio.

I have found the answer !! .... There is a little check box between 'config' and 'capture'. It needs to be checked to enable WinDV to remotely control the camcorder.

Silly me !! :)
