As far as I am aware, there is no code required for the trial version. It would only require a code once the 30 day trial period had expired, and/or you actually purchased the product and wanted to convert it into a full version. (In any case, we advise against doing this as the try before you buy version, when activated, tends to be unstable when activated. It is better to buy the full or upgrade version, download that and use the serial number/key to get it going.)

hey name sake - boy you work tough hours eh? well...I'm having quite the ulead experience - I successfully did the wave part that you suggested...but I still can't save as an mpeg2 - I can burn directly to disc...but the finished product stops midway and then starts again. So, I'm reaching the end of my tether....as they say - so I go to do the trial version X2 - http://activity.ulead.com/tbyb/runme.htm - and you can see they want an activation code - I can't open the app without it. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to talk w/a customer rep unless you know something else... K

now I can't edit VS9 - with the trial version
So I finally am in X2 - looks a little film noir-esque - but I digress. I remember you telling me to save my VS9 which I did. Now that I've got X2 - I can't now import my project in to VS9 as X2 has taken them over so to speak. So I guess to finish my project I better get quickly acquainted with X2. As mentioned before my immediate goal is to A) finish the project. B) make my AVI files as my proven method for burning it to disc. C) after feeling good about having my default disc done (even though it pauses between AVI sections) then D) I will gather as much steam to re-explain my plight to whoever is reading my little saga and hope I can successfully burn this thing properly. Off to work and I'll read you later. I'm sorry I don't have enough time w/work and family to luxuriate in trouble shooting - makes it tough for you guys/gals...K

You are not helping by now having not one, not two, but three separate threads running on what is essentially the same subject. As a matter of only passing relevance in this thread, though, you should have saved your VS9 project with one name, then saved it again with another name. Then you could have used the latter in X2 which would have made it impossible to open in VS9. But you would still have had the original project file with the first name, which you could still open in VS9.
I am going to lock this thread.
