How do I import .vob files from raw DVD file structure

Post by clhalliii »

two years ago I was using a dvd camcorder and used double layer mini-dvd's with the camcorder -- unfortunately i could never get them read by any player in my house.

I finally attached the camcorder as a disk and read all the files onto my hard drive. I ended up with four .vob files for the four segments, backup files of the IFO, and DVD movie info files.

So i'm new and can't search the forums yet -- thanks for either pointing me to the answer or giving the answer (and yes, I read the manual -- it can only deal with direct reading of the dvd and i have these files on disk now. I tried writing these files to dvd and rereading but that didn't work)

thanks, cliff
