DVD Movie Factory 6 Plus crashes on Import

Following the Installation of several Microsoft Updates to XP Pro, I find that I cannot now import from DVD chapters from either direct from disc or hard drive folders. The program parses the DVD and lays out the chapter and title contents, but as soon as I mark the chapter for import, the program hesitates and then crashes, returning with the program interface after about 15 secs later? Browsing similar past Forum questions, it does appear that this is due to certain DLL files which may require updating?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Look for any error messages to see which DLL file(s) appear to be giving the fault. Then try a search of these forums for that particular DLL file.
