DivX 7 and VS12/X2

Has anyone yet worked out a way of getting VS to recognise the new DivX 7 codec? It doesn't appear to install a .dll similar to the DivX 6 one mentioned in the Sticky above.

I haven't been able to, AND I also noticed that the there is no DivX codecs showing in my list in VS...

Pity. Mind you, I am happy enough with the fact that VS is working with DivX 6.8 which is a significantly better codec than the old 5.4 which VS installs. (However, of course some of the older stand-alone DVD players which could read DivX discs could only do so if the discs were encoded using version 5 or earlier...)

But DivX 7 brings so many advances, particularly in what seems a very usable HD format.
