Ripple Tool

Post by Darryl »

I am having trouble with the Ripple Tool. No matter if Ripple is enabled or disabled. Project view or clip view, it always just leaves a hole where I delete an image. It did work one time while I was playing around but I do not know why. I have a series of images and I just click on the image and delete. It deletes and leaves an open space. Thanks

I have tried and tried ripple does not work. I have VS 12. I am not sure what the pad locks mean at the beginning of each track line. I think I do understand how to enable and disable. I have looked at the tutorial many times and have experimented to no avail. I have looked at a tutorial on you tube. I am sure there must be one little thing I am missing. Thanks

You must be editing on the overlay tracks...it's the only tracks where clips don't automatically move to the left.

The main Video Track is the Ripple edit master track.... all ripple edits are tied to the main track...all other tracks, sound, titles etc are tied/linked to something in the main track.
