Cant delete wav and project files

Cant delete wav and project files
I am trying to delete files in my working folder and U/L wav files.A message shows that this cant be done because vs cannot read from the file or source disc.What do I have to do ?................Ken

Hi Ken
Close VS before deleting.
You should be able to delete files in the working folder using your PC, windows explorer.
In the same way that you delete any file from your pc.
But if the files appear in the library, then deleting from the pc will result in a re-link from the library.
What process are you using to delete these files.??

Deleting files
some of the files are in the library.I selected all the files to be deleted in the working folder, right clicked and selected delete, ditto in the Video_TS
folder

When you delete files from the library there are two methods available.
1. select any file(s) you wish to delete and press the delete key on your keyboard. The files are deleted from the library but not from your hard drive.
2. select any file(s) you wish to delete and press the shift key AND the delete key on your keyboard at the same time. The files are deleted from the library AND from your hard drive.
