Sorry for double-posting this but I just can't help but think that there isn't someone who can assist me with this question!
I open up WinDVD, I use it for awhile, but first I center it on the screen. It always seems to open towards the right of the screen. Then I use it for awhile and close it.
When I open it again though, it does not open where I centered it on the screen the last time, but, once again, to the right of the screen. Any way to fix this?
WinDVD won't open in same position!

Sometime in the long distant past I had a program (Cannot recall now which one) that did this and I found the reason was due to having at some time resized the screen whilst the program was still open. If I restored the screen resolution to what it was previously, the program would be centred.
If I recall correctly, I had to open and close the program in the old resolution. Then alter the screen resolution to the new one and then I found the program would open correctly.

Still the same!
I'm sorry this took do long to reply. I had to install some new parts and reload Windows! Just got WinDVD installed and running again today.
I hate to say this, but I did not totally understand what you were saying about changing resolution, then opening and closing the program etc.
Whatever it was I tried did not work and anyway, I don't think that I'm communicating well enough what the exact problem is.
When I open up the program, the smaller screen appears and it's nice and centered. If I then click on "Maximize", it's still fine, centered and it fills the whole screen.
The problem is when I'm in that first, smaller screen mode. When I go to source to open up a video file, it immediately enlarges and goes to the right and the way it acts, it seems like that's what it's supposed to do. Is that true?
I mean just the nature of opening a video file (An AVI) in the smaller screen of the program naturally is going to make the program open wider, but I would have thought that the developers would want it to open up that file equally on both the left and the right, instead of just the right.
There has to be an solution for this. I mean I just now installed the program and already it's doing it and I did not mess with any resizing or anything. In the meantime I'm just going to keep it set on opening full screen in settings.
Also, just for your information, I am operating with a brand new motherboard and video card and all of my drivers are up to date.
