I think after VS crashed on my wife with 2 hours of work into this project she has agreed to allow me to upgrade. In the meantime, how can i synd these photos with my music?

Insert your audio track, then make sure you have the Cue points activated for your timeline. By default it is set for Chapter points. Now press the space bar to play/pause, and there is a hidden keyboard shortcut for inserting Cue (or chapter) points....[F5]. So if your music is 4/4 time, and you want to insert a cue point at the start of each measure press the [F5] key.
Now just insert your image at each cue point. VS does not have a real nice feature of automatically inserting clips to cue points, which the now obsolete big brother MSP does...

But isn't the Wizard supposed to do this? I've never used anything but the Editor so I'm not sure.
