VS 12 Audio phasing problem

I just upgraded from VS 11.5 to VS 12 and it sounds like my music tracks are out of phase. The sounds seems to oscillate. This happens whether I normalize the audio on burning or not.

I am laying in the audio as mp3 should it be a different format?

Any thoughts on this?

I am using Windows Vista 64, by the way.

Certain types of MP3 can cause problems. Try converting them to WAV files and see if that fixes it.

Tried that, it made no difference. I am really confused as I've never had this problem with previous builds of VS
