Overlay Shadow

Is there someway to create a shadow for an overlay? I found the options for borders and transparency, but not shadows...

Welcome to the forums,

There should be 2 tabs in the dialog window for Border/Shadow/Transparency, for Titles. The second tab is for applying shadows..

I think he is asking about PIP's not Text.
To give a PIP a 3D effect I think you need to cheat and use two overlay tracks. On one overlay track place a colour block (Black would be a good choice) on the second place the overlay video then adjust their positions to give a shadow looking effect.

Sorry I didn;t make myself clear, I did mean for PIP, Image overlays...

One more question, if I may...
I have the options set that when I bring in multiple images it automatically creates a crossfade, but in maniupulating the images and re-arranging them, those crossfades get out of whack. Is there anyway to select multiple images and edit or set the crossfade for all the selected images at once instead of trying to manipulate them one at a time? Specifically the duration?

Kinda of, Sort of...

You can set a default Transition duration in the Preferences (Press [F6] on your keyboard or File menu>Preferences) dialog. You can also right-click on the transition effect and select Apply Current Effect to Video Track. This will however apply this to the entire video track..

One last thing when you have multiple images selected going to the Clip menu there is the option to change the duration of those selected, however this does not change the Transition effect duration.
