Scrolling titles: smooth-jerk-smooth-jerk (VS9)

Hi,

My VS9 titles look great (rendered clearly, using white shadow and outline of characters to make readable over mixed backgrounds).

But...

When I use the 'Fly' animation (no pause selected), the titles don't scroll smoothly. They scroll smoothly for about 10 frames, then jerk up, then scroll smoothly again, then jerk up...

Am I doing something wrong?

(PS: It's a PAL DV project composed of PAL DV clips.)

Do the titles look bad when rendered?

When rendered the titles are clean and sharp, but move up the screen smooth-jerk-smooth-jerk...
