Would developing a motion film camera be hard to do? I have an idea that all I need to do is create a box that can automaticly role film at a certain rate and allow correct exposure to the film and theres my camera.
A box that houses the role of film, an electric motor for the film wheel, and a solenoid to generate a pulsing electromagnetic field for the shutter.
The logic controller can be programmed with monolith instruction for each output bridge. The motor given a constant flow of power (for FPS), and solenoid given a pulse of power (from capactor to achieve very fast shutter speed) at an interval synched with the position of the film. On/Off by toggling a switch that is inline between the logic controller and power source. The only problem I face is the shutter becoming out of synch with the film. If I think hard enough I could find a solution, but I may think harder if I consider my idea on a more serious level.
Would this simple camera be effective?
It would be allot cheaper spending $6k on a profesionally manufactured one.
