16:9 Video Problems

Hi all,

I'm importing a 16:9 video into my project for archiving onto DVD.

The only problem is, that even within a 16:9 project, the video insists on playing as 4:3 and not 16:9.

Does anyone why or how to rectify this?

what version of MovieFactory are you running? All patches applied? etc...

I'm having the same problem. I even sent DVDs to Tech Support. They worked fine with MF3. Tech people said that you must specify 16:9 in DVD player's menu. This works, but it was automatic before without changes to player. They have a bug in the IFO creation part of the program (MF4) that they will HAVE to address. For now I have gone back to MF3 since it will be hard to make my customers always change their DVD player settings on 16:9 discs. I can't afford returns. Sorry I can't help but at least you know that you are not at fault and there is nothing you can do until Ulead fixes the bug.
