pixelating

Post by brianchew »

I have a simple problem. I use VS 8 to pull
out commercials. My computer crashed so I reinstalled.Ever since then
when I put the footage in and start the rendering process, the
finished product tiles every once in a while. im recording with
Beyond TV at the highest quality so it has to be VS. Is there a
default setting in the preferences that is causing this that I need to
check or uncheck??

Check your master footage from Beyond....sometimes when the TVsignal drops slightly you will get pixilation. Compare the master to the copy.

Hopefully you are NOT using Microsoft Vista - VS8 as quite an old program and I doubt it will work with Vista.
