varying sound levels on video inputs - make them all similar

I'm putting different movies, clips and background sounds onto one dvd but they have varying sound levels, is there a way to make them all be the same volume level? thanks

In the third (final) step click the down arrows to reveal more burning options. One option is to Normalize Audio. The program will evaluate and adjust the volume levels across the entire project.
