My Jog Wheel disappeared

Post by deonholt »

Hi there.

VS X2 with update.

I am playing around for the first time in a while and have gone through some tutorials on how to cut video clips. This has worked wonderfully with my mouse's & keyboard's Jog wheel.

But, I don't know if I have done something wrong, but my Jog Wheel's function to move the timeline with it has disappeared. When I scroll now using the Jog Wheel, the Zoom works. I want my Jog Wheel's function back to slowly scroll my clips/project.

Please help and tell me what I have done to loose it.

Thanx so long.

The function of the jog wheel on your mouse is determined by where you click on the VideoStudio screen.
Click the video on the timeline and it will then scroll left/right.
Click the zoom control (just above the timeline) and you then zoom in/out with the wheel.

Thanx very much for your reply.

I have only now realised that to forward and rewind a clip with my scroll wheel, I need the clip to be playing. If it is not playing, it then scrolls the zoom of time line.

Thanx again for your help.
