what does the denoise filter do...i have some blocky looking video which is a result of me having to use the autolevels filter to brighten up a darker parter of my video..

will denoise smooth out some of he blocky bits...is there a better fiX??

denoise is meant to remove static and other forms of "snow" on your images. Basically it looks for stray pixels that do not match the color of the pixels around them and removes them. I don't think it would do much to blocky pictures, maybe trim the blocks a bit.

Probably your best bet is to try capturing the images at a higher quality.
