Hi,

My name is Clement. I am new to video creation and have been "forced" into it since two of my kids want to play college sports. I have been using ulead to create a highlights video for the oldest one and it is coming along. It takes a lot of time to go through that footage:)

I have read a number of posts on this forum that have been helpful and thank you for the help.

Welcome to the forums,

Yes, being forced into video editing is a terrible thing. It starts to consume more and more of your free time, until you must start finding free time to edit. It is an addictive habit, at first a little is enough, progressing to can't get enough. Maybe there should be a support group, Video Editor's Anonymous. Forget MADD, because we're not mad, we're glad, forget SADD, we're very happy with our productions. This may be you're last chance to escape, so run, get rid of your camcorder, you may never be the same again...

Seriously though, we look forward to your participation. If you find yourself stumped, needing help, don't hesitate to post. We all do what we can to help out, to make the experience as it should be, a lot of fun. :) Also if you can provide some insight to others, please feel free to chime in..:)

Again welcome to the forums..
